The purpose of NHOE is to carry out manufacturing, systems, and plant engineering activities in advanced technology sectors with particular reference to the aeronautical, space, transport, nuclear, territorial information and energy sectors; the development of the above-mentioned activities as a corporate purpose includes theoretical, applied and experimental research, development, experimentation, design and production in the field of technologies inherent to the above-mentioned activities and in particular to information technology, electronics, electromechanics and mechanics in general and the provision of related services.
NHOE also has the object of transferring and applying the activities described above to other industrial sectors; marketing its studies, skills, and experience, as well as products, systems, and subsystems deriving from the performance of the aforementioned activities; taking on agencies, commercial representations and any other activity connected with the marketing and distribution of third party products and services connected with the company’s activities.
NHOE can develop delivery items for its customers at the system level. NHOE can understand and develop specifications (requirements) coming from the client and process them to obtain a completely satisfactory design. We can provide design for structural architecture, mechanics, electromechanics, electronics, and software. For the mechanical part, we use the most modern 3D CAD software coordinating the design with the appropriate checks, applying advanced materials (Al, Steel, Ti, CFRP, KFRP) according to MIL and ESA Standards, documenting everything with an organized management of 2D (documentation). Concerning 2D CAD particular care is taken in drawing trees/product configuration and revisions management both on AS Design and As Built. An unambiguous direct correlation between 3D CAD models and FEM/FEA models, to obtain 2D drawings, is considered fundamental. Particular attention is given to safety matters related to the design aspects concerning legislation on machinery (2006/42/CE), especially when systems or machines with electromechanical parts that require software and logical control are supplied. The constant application of quality assurance systems leads to the achievement of a design that is always aligned with the standards, the specifications and the introduction of continuous improvement.
