The Module Integration Rotating Stand (M-IRS) is a device to support the Habitable Module during the integration and handling of the Module Itself. Each M-IRS is designed according to the Interface Control Drawing and mass budget and Volume of Modules issued by the customer.
The M-IRS can be equipped with:
• Air Cushion System for movement and/or pivot wheel
• Leveling element for AIT activities
• Electromechanical system (able to UE and US power supply) to rotate the Module around longitudinal Axis
• Safe and lock system
• Grounding Points
• Hoisting points
