The Marman Clamp Band (MCB) is designed to clamp S/C to MGSE adapters during the transport, handling, test, and integration operation. Each Clamp Band is designed according to the mass budget and S/C ICD issued by the customer.
The MCB can be equipped with:
• Load cells sensor (to check the required tightening torque)
• Flight HW interfaces and MGSE interfaces
• Interface to Vibration Test Adapter
