The Spacecraft sheltering & storage tent (SST) consists of the following main items:
• A main component, which is an nitrogen leak tight tent (compatible with Helium test)
• An external rigid structure, which supports the tent itself
• The rigid structure and tent can be upwards by the hand of the operators
The SST has the following features:
1. Envelope the S/C for the entire storage period
2. compliance to Clean room installation (optional external enviroment, see other product)
3. Guarantee the cleanliness and controlled inside environmental levels
4. Guarantee an homogeneous internal environment conditions
5. Interface with an external purging system
6. Allow an monthly inspection of the S/C by the Customer personnel
7. Allow a permanent monitoring of the following parameters:
– Internal overall temperature
– Internal overall humidity
8. Self-regulate the purging gas flowrate for storage conditions control.
