The Tray Test Bench (TTB) is a system specifically designed to support trays during their integration and testing phases. It is equipped to allow full 360° rotation about two axes: one along the bench’s longer axis, controlled by a precision gearbox that minimizes oscillation by reducing backlash, and another around the Z-axis of the tray itself, facilitated by a set of slew rings. Both rotations are manually controlled using dedicated handwheels, and the mechanisms are self-locking, ensuring that the tray remains in position without external intervention.
